How We Handle Notices
Upon receipt of a properly submitted and substantive DMCA notice:
- We may request additional information before taking action on any claim.
- If we remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify the person responsible for posting such material.
- We may provide the responsible person with your contact details so that they may respond to your claim.
- All notices will be processed in accordance with 17 U.S.C. ยง 512(c).
Counter-Notification
If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to us at the address above. Your counter-notification must include:
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice or their agent.
- Your electronic or physical signature.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we may restore the removed material in accordance with applicable law.
Repeat Infringers
We maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright.
Good Faith
By submitting a DMCA notice, you confirm that you are acting in good faith and that the information you have provided is accurate. Knowingly submitting a false or misleading DMCA notice may result in liability under 17 U.S.C. ยง 512(f).
